Ralph Saint Williams, widely known as Ralph De FellowGhanaian, a well-known activist with the “FixTheCountry” movement, has sparked conversations online after a video surfaced showing him confronting a female street preacher.

The preacher had been delivering a sermon early in the morning near Ralph’s residence, causing what he described as noise pollution.

In the video, Ralph approaches the preacher and expresses his frustration with her actions. He questions why the Ghana Police Service had not intervened, implying that such behavior should have been addressed by law enforcement.

“Only if we had a serious country, the police would be the right ones to come after you,” he told the preacher.

Despite Ralph’s complaints, the street preacher continued her sermon, warning people to repent because “the world is coming to an end.”

Her determination to continue preaching, even in the face of confrontation, drew attention online and sparked debate among viewers.

Ralph suggested that parts of her sermon seemed indirectly targeted at him because he had spoken out about the noise.

He expressed frustration that when he confronts such behavior, people sometimes mislabel him as a gang leader or accuse him of other unrelated acts.

“Exactly, this is what I’m talking about. Whenever you confront them, they call you a gang leader—‘Champion atta’,” he said in the video.

Beyond the issue of noise, Ralph also challenged some of the preacher’s claims about death and divine punishment.

He argued that not all deaths are acts of God and emphasized that preventable tragedies in Ghana often result from systemic failures rather than spiritual wrongdoing.

Ralph specifically mentioned deaths that occur during critical medical procedures, especially in situations involving power outages or lack of proper healthcare resources. He questioned the morality of framing such deaths as divine punishment:

“What wrong did those people do?” he asked, highlighting that structural and institutional problems, not divine retribution, are often the true causes of preventable loss of life.

The incident quickly drew attention on social media platforms, with users discussing both Ralph’s boldness in confronting the preacher and the broader issues he raised regarding systemic problems in Ghana.

Some praised his courage for speaking out against what they see as fear-based or harmful preaching, while others debated the appropriate way to address noise pollution and public religious expression.

Ralph Saint Williams has been known for his activism through the FixTheCountry movement, which focuses on urging the government and institutions in Ghana to prioritize accountability, better governance, and social reforms.

His confrontation with the street preacher highlights how he engages with the public not only on political issues but also on societal norms and public behavior.

The video has continued to trend, sparking discussions about freedom of speech, religious expression, and civic responsibility.

Many viewers have weighed in on the importance of balancing public preaching with the rights of residents to enjoy peace and quiet in their neighborhoods.
