Former Bantama MP Henry Kwabena Kokofu has spoken about the lessons he believes he has gained following the defeat of the New Patriotic Party in government.
During a frank conversation, Kokofu emphasized the need for greater honesty in politics and suggested that he would approach leadership differently if the NPP eventually returns to power.
He criticized the reluctance of many politicians to be truthful, saying that such attitudes often lead to avoidable problems and weaken public confidence in leadership.
However, further investigations later revealed that he intended to sell the device before he was eventually apprehended.
The incident was highlighted by Metro TV Ghana with the headline: “Kwesi Pratt reacts to an interesting newspaper story: A lawyer reportedly steals a phone in court, joins the search for it, and then gets caught trying to sell it.”
Reacting to the development, Pratt expressed disbelief, noting that the story stood out among the day’s news. He pointed out the irony that such an incident surfaced while the Acting Chief Justice was speaking about maintaining ethical conduct in the legal profession.
