In a striking development, Iranian aerospace commander Seyed Majid Mousavi issued a stern warning via X, declaring,
“You played with fire. This time it won’t be an eye for an eye. Wait and see.”
Shortly after the statement, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps released an extensive alert, calling for evacuations in industrial zones linked to the United States and Israel.
Workers in affected facilities were instructed to leave immediately, while residents within a one-kilometer radius were also urged to evacuate due to fears of imminent strikes.
Iranian authorities indicated that their focus is expanding to include companies with U.S. shareholders and industries connected to Israeli interests across the region.
Analysts interpret this as a shift toward what is increasingly described as “economic warfare,” where infrastructure, production facilities, and corporate assets become primary strategic targets.
This escalation follows confirmed Israeli airstrikes on key Iranian nuclear-linked sites, including the Kandab heavy water reactor and a uranium processing facility near Yazd. Israeli officials have framed these operations as efforts to weaken Iran’s nuclear capabilities.
Despite the sustained pressure, intelligence assessments suggest that Iran continues to retain a significant portion of its missile arsenal, much of which is believed to be concealed within extensive underground networks, underscoring the ongoing complexity and volatility of the conflict.
