Katz made the remarks during a security briefing, where he confirmed that Israeli forces are on standby across multiple fronts and that operational targets have already been identified.
He indicated that military planning for a broad offensive is already in place.
"Israel is prepared to renew the war against Iran. The IDF is ready in defence and offence, and the targets are marked," he stated.
He further suggested that Israel is seeking backing from Washington before moving forward with what he described as a decisive phase of action.
According to him, the objective would go beyond conventional military engagement to include broader strategic outcomes.
"We are awaiting a green light from the United States, first and foremost to complete the elimination of the Khamenei dynasty... and additionally to return Iran to the Dark Age and the Stone Age by destroying key energy and electricity facilities and dismantling its national economic infrastructure," he said.
The remarks point to a potential escalation that could extend beyond military targets to critical infrastructure, raising concerns about widespread humanitarian and economic consequences inside Iran.
Analysts note that damage to energy and electricity systems could significantly disrupt daily life and national stability.
Katz also warned that any renewed confrontation would be more intense than previous exchanges, describing it as a far more destructive phase of conflict.
"This time the attack will be different and deadly and will add devastating blows in the most painful places, following the enormous blows the Iranian terror regime has already suffered so far, that will shake and collapse its foundations," he said.
