The Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, has issued a strong warning to the United States after President Donald Trump issued threats against Iran over the situation in Lebanon.

Speaking in Tehran, Ghalibaf stressed that Iranian forces are ready to respond immediately if the United States tries to take any military or political action aimed at undermining the country's security.

Ghalibaf's statement came shortly before the start of scheduled talks between Tehran and Washington, talks that have been eagerly awaited by the international community.

resident Trump, through his speech, issued threats demanding that Iran stop interfering in Lebanese affairs, warning that the United States will not hesitate to take strong action if Tehran continues to cooperate with militant groups in the region.

According to international political analysts, the responses indicate an increase in diplomatic and military tensions between the two countries.

Iran has repeatedly stressed that its role in Lebanon is to protect the interests of the people of the region and ensure that the country does not turn into a battlefield pushed by the United States and its allies.

Ghalibaf added that Iran will not accept threats aimed at restricting its political and military independence, and that the country will respond with full force if attacked.

Regional security experts say Ghalibaf's statement is a direct message to Washington that Iran is ready for any action, whether diplomatic or military. They also say that Trump's threats could undermine the expected talks, as they reflect a hardline US stance aimed at forcing Iran to accept unilateral conditions.

On the other hand, Middle East analysts warn that this situation could lead to increased tensions in Lebanon, a country already facing security and political challenges.

They say that if the US and Iran continue to compete with each other in threats, Lebanon could turn into a major conflict, which would endanger the peace of the entire region.

The international community has continued to closely monitor these developments, with the United Nations calling for productive dialogue instead of threats. However, recent statements from both sides indicate that the diplomatic journey is still long and fraught with challenges.

For now, the eyes of the world are on Tehran and Washington, waiting to see whether the upcoming talks will achieve an agreement or whether threats will further deepen the state of mistrust.

Ghalibaf's statement made it clear that Iran will not accept humiliation by the United States, and that its forces are ready to respond immediately if threats turn into actions.
