The latest report from Metro TV Ghana, On Wednesday 25th February 2026, confirmed that a man from Nigeria has been arrested by the Ghana Police Service over alleged kidnapping.

A Nigerian national has been arrested in Ghana for allegedly kidnapping a young man and holding him captive in his home for one month.
Reports indicate the victim was subjected to repeated beatings and abuse during the period of confinement.
The situation was later uncovered and reported to authorities, leading to the victim’s rescue. Currently, the victim has been admitted at the hospital and responding to medical treatment. It is therefore prudent for the security services in Ghana to be Strengthen.
