A wedding ceremony in Kasoa in the Central Region of Ghana took a dramatic turn after the groom reportedly called off the marriage just hours before the couple was expected to exchange vows.

According to accounts from individuals present at the event, preparations were complete and guests had already gathered to witness what was meant to be a joyous union.

However, the atmosphere quickly shifted from celebration to shock when news reached the groom about an alleged last-minute visit the bride had paid to her former boyfriend.

Sources claim the information was disclosed to the groom by a close friend of the bride shortly before the ceremony was set to begin.

The alleged visit, described as a “final respectful meeting,” reportedly did not sit well with the groom, who viewed it as a breach of trust on such a significant day.

Despite emotional appeals from the bride and attempts by family members and friends to calm tensions, the groom is said to have remained firm in his decision.

Witnesses indicated that he declined to proceed with the ceremony, insisting that he could not ignore what he had just learned.

The unexpected development left guests stunned. Decorations, catering, and other arrangements had already been put in place, making the cancellation even more dramatic.

Some attendees reportedly expressed sympathy for both parties, while others debated whether the decision was justified.

As discussions continue on social media, the incident has sparked broader conversations about trust, transparency, and communication in relationships especially in the final moments leading up to marriage.
