Kumawood actor and Team Legal Wives member, Nana Yeboah, has stirred conversations online after boldly comparing the one-week observation of late gospel icon Yaw Sarpong to the funeral rites of highlife legend Daddy Lumba.

Speaking after attending Yaw Sarpong’s one-week observation, Nana Yeboah did not mince words about his impressions.

According to him, the event held in honor of the gospel musician was exceptionally organized and well attended, surpassing even the combined one-week observation and funeral of Daddy Lumba.

The actor noted that in terms of decoration, arrangement, and overall atmosphere, Yaw Sarpong’s event stood out remarkably.

He emphasized that the setup reflected deep love, honor, and appreciation for the late gospel singer’s contribution to the music industry and the Christian community.

Nana Yeboah also touched on attendance, claiming that many musicians were noticeably absent during Daddy Lumba’s funeral.

In contrast, he observed that numerous personalities despite their busy schedules made time to attend Yaw Sarpong’s one-week observation. To him, this strong show of support demonstrated the impact and respect the gospel icon commanded.

While his comments have sparked mixed reactions among fans of both legends, they have undeniably reignited discussions about how Ghana honors its music greats.

As tributes continue to pour in for Yaw Sarpong, many agree that the turnout at his one-week observation reflects the lasting legacy he leaves behind in the gospel fraternity.
