The body, which had missing fingers, ears, and legs, was spotted by a local farmer early Wednesday morning.
"I was heading to my farm around 6 a.m. when I saw something unusual in the bush. When I got closer, I realized it was a human body without legs and fingers," said Kofi Nyame, the farmer who reported the incident to the police.
Police officers from the Ashaiman District Police Command quickly arrived at the scene after being alerted.
According to police reports, the victim appeared to be a man in his late 30s. His body showed signs of severe torture, and the missing body parts raised suspicions of ritual activity.
"The nature of the injuries suggests a possible ritual killing, but we are still investigating. We urge anyone with information to come forward," said Chief Inspector Grace Asante.
The discovery has left the community in fear, with many residents worried about their safety.
