"I Sat With Addo On Free SHS Before He Became President, But Later He Was Not Listening" — Cudjoe

Franklin Cudjoe has disclosed that he held a detailed pre-election discussion with Nana Akufo-Addo on the long-term sustainability of the Free Senior High School (Free SHS) policy, raising concerns that were later not fully considered during implementation.

Speaking on GHOne TV, Cudjoe explained that the meeting took place when Akufo-Addo was still a presidential candidate. 

He said he attended the session with three other individuals, where they conducted a thorough analysis of the proposed policy, examining projected student enrollment, financial implications, and the long-term burden on the state.

According to Cudjoe, the engagement was data-driven and focused on practical realities, with experts presenting projections on how costs would increase significantly as more students entered the system. 

He indicated that the aim was to ensure that the policy, while beneficial, would be implemented in a financially sustainable manner.READ MORE............................
