A strong statement has been made by Miracles Dennis Aboagye in defense of the leadership of The Church of Pentecost.

In an official Facebook post dated 24 April 2026, Miracles Dennis Aboagye expressed his disagreement with claims questioning the spiritual authority of Apostle Eric Nyamekye.

According to him, describing Apostle Nyamekye as “not anointed” is not only inaccurate but also deeply disrespectful to the entire Church.

He emphasized that Apostle Nyamekye, as the Chairman of The Church of Pentecost, holds a significant spiritual position and has demonstrated leadership that reflects dedication, discipline, and service to the Christian faith. In his view, such comments undermine the values and beliefs of the Church and its members.

The statement highlights the sensitivity surrounding religious leadership in Ghana, where faith institutions play a major role in national life.

For many believers, spiritual leaders are not only administrators but also symbols of divine calling and guidance. As a result, public criticism of such figures often generates strong reactions.

Miracles Dennis Aboagye’s comment has sparked conversations among social media users, with some supporting his stance and others calling for tolerance of differing opinions.

While some argue that public figures should be open to scrutiny, others insist that religious leaders deserve respect, especially when it comes to matters of faith.

The discussion also reflects the broader issue of how public discourse is conducted, particularly on matters that involve religion and personal beliefs.

Many observers believe that while freedom of expression is important, it must be balanced with respect for institutions and individuals.

Overall, the statement has drawn attention to the need for respectful dialogue when discussing religious matters. It also reinforces the strong connection many Ghanaians have with their faith and religious leadership.
