Businessman Abu Trica has reportedly returned from remand to discover that most of his once-prominent car collection has disappeared, leaving only a single vehicle behind, according to a video currently circulating online.

Abu Trica, who was arrested on December 11, 2025, in a joint operation involving the FBI and Ghanaian security agencies, has been at the centre of a major cross-border investigation linked to an alleged romance scam network.

He is accused of playing a significant role in a scheme that allegedly targeted elderly victims in the United States through fraudulent online relationships.

Authorities have filed charges including conspiracy to commit wire fraud in both the United States and Ghana, as well as alleged involvement in an $8 million romance scam and money laundering network.

If extradited and convicted, he could face a lengthy prison sentence under U.S. federal law, according to earlier reports.

After weeks in custody and efforts to meet bail or remand conditions, Abu Trica was reportedly released on Friday, May 15, 2026.

However, his release has now sparked fresh attention online following a viral video showing what remains of his personal assets.

In the footage, the businessman is seen returning to his residence or garage space only to find that nearly all of his previously known luxury cars are no longer there.

According to the video narration, only one vehicle remains in his possession — a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon — while the rest of his reported car collection has allegedly been removed.

The development has triggered widespread speculation on social media, with many users questioning what may have led to the disappearance of the vehicles.

Some online commentators suggest possible legal seizures, financial liquidation, or asset recovery actions tied to ongoing investigations, though no official confirmation has been made.

Others have expressed shock at the dramatic change in circumstances surrounding the businessman, whose lifestyle and assets previously attracted significant public attention.

As of the time of reporting, neither Abu Trica nor his legal representatives have issued a formal statement addressing the viral claims about his vehicles. Authorities also have not confirmed whether any of the assets were officially seized or legally transferred.

The story continues to trend across social media platforms, adding another twist to an already high-profile case that spans both Ghana and international jurisdictions.
