Nicholas Duncan-Williams has reportedly demanded a retraction and public apology from the online platform ghanacelebrity.com over a publication he described as false and damaging to his reputation.

According to reports cited by 3NewsGH, the issue arose after the website allegedly published claims suggesting that Duncan-Williams’ son had exposed him during a private conversation involving pastors and the presidential ambitions of Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia.

The publication reportedly circulated widely on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and X, where it generated mixed reactions and sparked extensive public discussion among Ghanaians.

In response, Duncan-Williams and his legal team strongly denied the allegations, describing the report as completely fabricated and lacking any factual basis.

According to them, the publication was “entirely false and contrived,” and they argued that the claims were misleading and potentially harmful to the archbishop’s image and reputation.

The cleric’s lawyers have reportedly demanded that the online platform publicly withdraw the story and issue an apology in order to prevent further reputational harm.

Reports further indicate that Duncan-Williams and his legal representatives are prepared to initiate legal proceedings if the website refuses to comply with the demands for correction and retraction.

The controversy has continued to attract significant attention online, with supporters of the religious leader defending him, while others debate the broader implications of the allegations and the responsibilities of digital media platforms when publishing sensitive political and religious content.
