A leading communicator of the opposition New Patriotic Party, Dennis Miracles Aboagye, has stated that the New Patriotic Party continues to enjoy strong appeal among a significant number of Ghanaians despite changing political dynamics in the country.

Speaking during a recent political discussion, Aboagye maintained that the NPP remains a dominant political force with a broad national following, arguing that the party’s policies, leadership record, and historical achievements continue to resonate with many citizens.

According to him, the party still commands attention and loyalty from supporters across various regions, with many Ghanaians continuing to identify with its vision for governance, economic growth, and national development.

“NPP still remains attractive to many Ghanaians,” he stated, suggesting that the party’s relevance has not diminished despite criticisms and political competition from rival groups.

His remarks come at a time when Ghana’s political landscape remains highly active, with parties increasingly shaping public narratives and positioning themselves ahead of future electoral contests.

Supporters of the NPP have echoed similar sentiments, often pointing to flagship programmes, infrastructure projects, and digitalization initiatives undertaken during the party’s time in government as evidence of its continued appeal.

However, critics argue that political attractiveness is ultimately determined by the lived experiences of citizens, economic conditions, and the ability of parties to respond effectively to national concerns.

Political analysts note that statements such as Aboagye’s are part of broader efforts by party communicators to reinforce confidence within their support base while projecting strength to undecided voters.
