New information has emerged following the arrival of former Chief Executive Officer of the Microfinance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC), Sedina Tamakloe-Attionu, in Ghana after her extradition from the United States.

She reportedly landed in the country on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, and was seen in a wheelchair with visibly swollen limbs, raising concerns about her health condition upon arrival.

A family source, speaking anonymously, indicated that she had been unwell prior to her transfer from the United States, where she had reportedly been receiving medical care.

Her return follows the approval of Ghana’s extradition request to enable her to serve a 10-year prison sentence imposed by the Accra High Court.

Following her arrival, officers of the Ghana Police Service and the Ghana Prisons Service took her into custody and are processing arrangements for her incarceration. GET FULL STORY HERE.
