Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has spoken candidly about the emotional toll of her ongoing dispute with her former husband, Ned Nwoko, revealing that the situation has left her frightened and emotionally drained.
In a strongly worded statement, the actress admitted that the prolonged conflict has begun to affect her sense of safety and peace of mind.
“Yes, I am scared,” Regina said. “I genuinely fear for my life.”
She explained that the situation has become particularly distressing because, according to her, repeated efforts by elders and well-meaning individuals to resolve the matter have failed.
“When a man refuses to listen to reason, ignores elders, and shuts out people who can clearly see the truth, the situation becomes terrifying,” she stated.
Regina described the experience as painful and exhausting, stressing that the matter goes beyond public drama or social media speculation.
“This is not a game to me,” she said. “This is my real life, and real people are involved.”
Questioning her former husband’s persistence, the actress wondered why he continues to pursue the dispute despite having lived what she described as a fulfilled life.
“You have already lived the best part of your life,” she said. “Why should mine be thrown into chaos?”
She further challenged him over past allegations he has dealt with, questioning what more he hopes to achieve.
“After finally clearing yourself of theft allegations, what else do you still have planned?” she asked.
Regina also expressed confusion over what satisfaction her former husband derives from the ongoing tension.
“Is this what brings you joy? Is this where you find fulfillment?” she questioned.
Concluding her remarks, the actress emphasised the seriousness of the situation and appealed to the public to understand the human cost behind the headlines.
“This is not entertainment,” Regina stated firmly. “This is real life, and I am taking it seriously.”
