She made the revelation in an interview with Accra-based GHone TV.
Dr Mahamadu Bawumia, former Vice President, emerged victorious in the NPP presidential election, marking the second time he was elected to lead the party to a general election.
He defeated Dr Bryan Acheampong, Kennedy Agyapong and two other candidates to retain the slot to lead the largest opposition party to the 2028 presidential election.
Following his victory, other contenders like Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum and Kwabena Agyapong visited the former Vice President in his private residence to congratulate him, pledging their support ahead of the next general elections.
However, Dr Ekua Amoakoh expressed concern that Ken Agyapong and Bryan Acheampong have not yet emulated the kind gesture by the two other contenders, noting that they have not yet visited Dr Bawumia to congratulate him.
"Kennedy Agyapong and Bryan Acheampong have not visited Dr Mahamadu Bawumia to congratulate him for winning the primaries," she said.
The comments from Dr Ekua Amoakoh do not align with the rebuilding process of the opposition NPP, a situation that will make it very difficult to close ranks in the party before the next general.
With three years to the next general elections, it remains to be seen whether the leadership of the party can bring these two bigwigs on board.
