Tarkwa Woman Jailed 5 Years for Diverting GH¢96k Pension Cash to Pay Mother’s Debt

A Tarkwa Circuit Court has sentenced a 34-year-old woman, Comfort Asante, to five years in prison with hard labour after she was found guilty of stealing pension contributions worth GH¢96,490 from her employer, NTHC Trustee.

Asante, who worked as a field officer for the company, was accused of diverting funds from 32 clients. 

During investigations, she confessed that she used the money to help settle a debt owed by her mother.READ MORE.......................
